![]() ![]() Would I recommend Video Enhance? For the right kind of super specific shot, it's a little better than the alternatives and it's cheap enough to give it a try. I don't think there's really anyone else in the video space with that kind of product. For 99.9% of shots, the scaler and denoise tools in Resolve are going to give you more control and a better result. The shots I used it on were wide scenic shots that had to be significantly cropped in. It's a really really specific use case where it's worth screwing with. I was impressed with their photo upscaler, so I bought Video Enhance just to play around with it, and since have maybe used it on a couple of shots. The further you get from that use case, the less impressive Topaz is, IMO. If you are trying to get that little extra resolution on a landscape photo so you can print it bigger than you probably should, the Topaz AI works remarkably well. I've used the Topaz suite quite a bit for stills, not so much for video. Looking for something more local?
