I can't tell you how many times I've shown up at a gig and the singer goes, "Oh, I'd rather do this song in D." The guitarists all flip on their capos but I'm on a fiddle. The one feature I would really like to see in Tunebook, however, is the ability to transpose to a different key. The format is primarily geared towards traditional folk music where tunes fit on a single page. ABC is also supported by many music applications. ABC is a simple text-based notation for music and many thousands of tunes are freely available in this format on the Web. Tunebook is a viewer for music expressed in the ABC format. I keep both on the App Store because it's not possible to provide an upgrade path to a single app without forcing some users to pay twice.
